I’m Michaela! The mom and woman behind this blog. A little bit about me; I’ve been married to my best friend for nearly 12 years and have had 6 amazing kids; 3 girls and 3 boys ages 14 down to 6 months old. We live in the beautiful state of Colorado and have been a homeschooling family since 2020. COVID hit and we needed to protect our immune-compromised son from excess germs. We loved being together full-time so much that we decided to continue homeschooling. The freedom that came with homeschooling was a bigger blessing than I could have expected. We created our own schedule, chose our own curriculum, and spent time together as a family.

Mom, Teacher, Cook, and Housekeeper- These are just some of my roles in our family. My whole life is about caring for my family, and I love it, but I also want more for myself. We are probably in the busiest season of our lives, but making time for myself as a mom is crucial. We make time for all the things our kids need, but we should also make time for the things we enjoy doing, too. Finding balance as mothers is crucial, and I hope that my blog helps you reach that balance in your life.
